Garden near Dunkerton, Bath
The clients had a very awkward shaped yard area on two levels outside their converted barn, and wanted to create a modern cottage garden with sitting area and planting, without being too crowded in the small space.
The finished garden has a good sized terrace outside the oak kitchen extension, with scented planting. Also plenty of climbers to soften all the hard landscaping walls and fences. The upper paths are edged with box hedging and lavender.
There is a stone trough water feature to add a feeling of coolness to this very sun baked terrace.
